Awarded a 1:1 matching grant of up to $50,000, payable at the completion of its fundraising campaign in the spring of 2022. The goal of the campaign is to acquire the 71-acre Gardenier Road Preserve, which is a half-mile from the Oswego city line and two miles from SUNY Oswego.
Received funds for its upcoming library, classroom and outdoors programs in northeastern parts of the county.
A matching challenge grant was awarded to assist The Friends of Great Bear in raising the remaining campaign funds required to purchase Whiskey Island and Great Bear Farm.
Contribution to purchase dredging equipment in order to assist in the clean up of Lake Neatahwanta. Completion of this necessary phase of lake cleanup will allow the return of Stevenson Beach back to the community and allow more economic development opportunities along the Fulton water-front.
