This matching grand award, payable in the spring of 2017 of up to $100,000 following completion of fundraising, given to the Fulton Block Builders, the new grassroots organization initiating a Healthy Neighborhood revitalization program in Fulton modeled after the Oswego Renaissance Association.
In their second year of this project, the goal is to position Oswego’s neighborhoods to compete effectively for families once again, and to become Neighborhoods of Choice. Funding will be used to incentivize households to reinvest in their homes and neighborhoods.
Funding to implement Neighborhood Revitalization Plan including Block Challenge Grants and Neighborhood Pride Projects. Intended outcome is to restore neighborhood confidence and reinvestment.
